Biography of Lukas

Lukas Verbickas, known on Instagram as @objectsexuality, embarked on his artistic journey at an early age, deeply influenced by his father, who was a photographer in his youth. His father practiced film photography, developing and printing his work in the traditional darkroom, illuminated by red light. This early exposure to photography left a lasting impact on Lukas.

At the age of 10, Lukas had his first hands-on experience with a camera when his father brought home a video camera and a photo camera from the United States. He used these to document school excursions and recreational moments. During this time, he was also actively involved in sports, and by the age of 14, he and his friend Dominykas began filming basketball mixtapes. However, after this period, Lukas took a break from his relationship with cameras.

After finishing high school, Lukas moved to Denmark to study Architectural Technologies and Construction Management. It was during this time that he developed a fascination with architectural forms, building structures, and their intricate geometries. While traveling during summer holidays, he began casually photographing architectural subjects on his iPhone. Although photography was never his primary focus, his friends and girlfriend encouraged him to create a dedicated Instagram page to showcase his architectural shots, planting the seed of an idea.

In March 2020, Lukas launched @objectsexuality on Instagram, marking the formal start of his photography journey. Since then, he has shared his distinctive perspective on architecture, drawing inspiration from both his father’s passion for photography and his own love for design.
